What does a nebula sound like? What melody evokes the vastness of a galaxy? In Celestial Notes, astronomer Elena Nordio takes us on a visual journey through the universe while pianist Blanca Quevedo performs compositions by great masters that evoke the cosmos.
The programme
Astronomical journey Elena Nordio presents the great objects of the universe — planets, comets, asteroids, nebulae and galaxies — accompanied by top-tier astronomical photographs and videos that illustrate the beauty of the cosmos.
Live music Blanca Quevedo performs piano works by composers who have looked to the sky for inspiration, creating an immersive atmosphere that fuses science and art.
Telescope observation After the presentation, attendees can observe celestial objects through the telescope in the outdoor courtyard (weather permitting).
