The sky for everyone
The Walk Under the Stars is our most accessible experience and perfect for those approaching the world of astronomy for the first time, or who simply want to enjoy a pleasant evening under the starry sky of La Palma. No telescopes or complex equipment required, just you, the sky, and the expert voice of our guide.
What does the tour consist of?
Enjoy a unique experience on the promenade of Los Cancajos, where you will virtually explore a scaled-down version of the Solar System: we will imagine a compact model in which the Sun and all the planets fit along the route.
Accompanied by one of our guides, you will visually understand the enormous distances between the planets, comparing their real sizes with everyday objects, within everyone’s reach, within this size-distance scale.
During the walk, you will travel through the Universe discovering surprising facts about the planets and other celestial bodies of the Solar System.
And weather permitting, we will identify visible constellations and planets using a laser pointer and visual resources.
And at the end… there will be an astronomical surprise for everyone!

This relaxed walk is designed to be enjoyed by everyone. The promenade of Los Cancajos is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. It is perfect for:

Tour conditions
- The tour is carried out even with cloudy skies
- In case of rain or strong wind, the tour will be cancelled
- Please check your email for any last-minute updates
- Telescope use is not included
- The route is not circular
- Payment only in cash to the guide (exact amount appreciated)
- Please arrive 5 minutes early; the tour starts on time
- Bookings available until 12:00 on the same day
Cancellation policy
The Company may cancel or modify the tour due to circumstances beyond its control or force majeure.
Cancellations or changes by the Company
The tour may be canceled due to rain, strong winds, or sea conditions that prevent access. In that case, we will offer you the option to change the date of your reservation (subject to availability). This tour is carried out only on Thursdays.

If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. This allows us to offer your place to others on the waiting list and avoid unnecessary travel for the guide.
