Gastronomy and Cosmos United
The G-Astronomical Dinner (G for Gastronomy, for Galaxy, for Grand) is Ad Astra La Palma’s crown experience: a completely unique evening where Canarian author cuisine merges with the contemplation of the universe in an indescribably beautiful setting.
Imagine dining under a canopy of millions of stars, with the sound of wind in the Canarian pines, the aromas of local cooking filling the air, and occasionally looking up from your plate to peer through the telescope and see Saturn’s rings or the Moon’s craters.
The Menu
The menu changes each season to make the most of La Palma’s best local produce. A typical menu example:
Starters
- Wrinkled potatoes with Palmero mojo and Canarian tuna
- Local goat cheese with palm honey and walnuts
First Course
- Canarian fish broth with gofio escaldado (traditional Palmero dish)
Main Course
- Grilled cherne with local garden vegetables
- Vegetarian option: palmito risotto with truffle
Dessert
- Bienmesabe with nougat ice cream
- Glass of Sweet Malvasía from La Palma
The Astronomical Evening
Dinner interweaves with astronomical observation in a natural way. While waiting between courses, the astronomer will guide us through that night’s sky. During the main courses, the telescope will be available for observing the brightest objects.
There’s no need to interrupt the conversation or the meal to enjoy the sky: the guide will time the observation moments around the dinner service.
The Setting
The G-Astronomical Dinner is held at carefully selected private locations on La Palma: private terraces with panoramic views, rural estates with gardens, or natural spaces with special permission. The exact location is confirmed upon booking.
Booking and Personalization
This experience requires booking at least 72 hours in advance to prepare the dinner and setup. We can adapt the menu to allergies, intolerances or dietary preferences (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.).
Price: €50 per person (dinner) + €180 (private astronomical session), with a minimum of 2 people.

- Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult
- Warm clothing for the outdoor observation part

Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 72 hours before with full refund. Between 72 and 48 hours, 50 % refund. Less than 48 hours before, no refunds due to the production costs involved. If outdoor observation is affected by weather, it will take place indoors with a projection at no reduction in price.
